We supply rolling stock kits and detail items for nz120 (2.5mm to the foot, scale or TT scale on n gauge track), for items found on New Zealand Railways. Our kits are produced in New Zealand, mainly of pewter castings but including some brass materials for detail parts. Whats happening in the Workshop - January 2026
Hi All.
Welcome 2026.
I've added some 'body only kits', for some of the bogie wagon varients. Purchasers will have to supply their own choice of bogies. Most look-a-like n scale freight bogies are commercially available by Atlas/Microtrains.
The brass etches for DS shunters and DH heavy shunter are also avaliable on site.
Thanks for you ongoing patience and support of my efforts and the scale in general.
Join us at one of the Boptrackgang area meetings which are held monthly in either Tauranga, Rotorua or Taupo. Come and model, problem solve or chat for a while.

Dxb upgraded Dx for 21st century. This unit is designed to use a SD40-2 chassis, but can be adapted for other chassis. Cab wall is 1mm thick with enlarged cab windows. Includes ditchlights on front headstock, fuel tank, sand boxes, corner steps and brass mesh grill for radiator, and couplers(non-operating), air hoses, fine wire for handgrabs and glazing for windows.
